What is it
The Mesquer Municipal Council of Teenagers was created in March 2017 at the iniative of young Mesquerais wanting to respond to the problems of young people in the communes. Upon the announcement of its creation and already very interested in the project approach, I joined the CMA and a first council took place with the elected officials of the commune to better present to us what the CMA will be and its goal. Since then, we have initiated 3 projects in the commune that meet the needs of young people. Two to three times a year we organize a municipal council to which the elected officials of the adult municipal council are invited to discuss with us the demands and needs of young people, for example our point of view on the safety of bicycle paths or the cultural and leisure offer in the commune. These councils have the objective to validate and take decisions. We also meet twice a month on the occasion of commissions and are divided into two commissions, Sport Culture and Leisure, and Prevention, Safety and Environment.

Eco-sports course
2020 - 2022
At our age, sport is becoming rather complicated to combine with our studies or because of travel difficulties, so we wanted to develop a sports course in the town by taking advantage of its 10km of coastline. From Kercabellec to Lanséria, 12 stages mark out the 10km, sometimes with street work-out challenges, thus taking advantage of the existing infrastructures, and sometimes with installed apparatus. In order to combine this project with an environmental dimension, we also installed tide bins to collect waste washed up by the sea. In view of their significant environmental impact, we also installed megadumps. As awareness-raising is important, information panels were put up to preserve the sea line.
Travel to Paris
July 2 & 3, 2019
Following the documentary, we were invited by the senator Christophe Priou to visit the Senate and thus better understand one of the most important institutions of the Fifth Republic. In order not to make the trip only for that, we took the opportunity to visit Paris and to see its most beautiful monuments. We went to the Cité des Sciences on the second day. The trip was financed by the first prize of the documentary (which is not to be used to finance the project itself).
Agricultural Confidences: are we still there? (or not)
2017 - 2019
As we noticed that our friends from the farming world were being made fun of and ridiculed, we decided to make a documentary to ask them about their daily lives and see how they experience this kind of discrimination. We were involved in the whole process, from the general idea to the broadcasting, including the writing and the shooting. We called on Lucas Périgaud, a professional videographer. The documentary is 56 minutes long and we interviewed 8 people, over several generations, from agriculture or shellfish farming, being a coastal commune. We responded to the call for projects from the MSA, the Mutuelle Sociale Agricole, and won the first regional prize with a prize of 1000€.

August 16 & 17, 2018 and August 22 & 23, 2019
While we have 2000 inhabitants in winter, in summer we approach 20 000. However, the local and summer youth do not meet each other and we wanted to organize a meeting over two days. What better way to do this than to organize an Olympiad. Thus, around the values of sport we can meet and have fun with young people we don't know very well and with whom we can create a link during the vacations.
